Bumbleride Twin

Firstly I need to state that whilst writing this review, the Bumbleride Twin is currently not available to purchase in the UK. I was lucky enough that a family member that lives in USA sent it over to me. Once I got over the fact I was not able to have a small compact pram, I went the total opposite way. I knew I wanted a side by side pram because I didn’t want one of my girls with a restricted view.I knew it would not be ideal for London, as we do have narrow roads and shops but I went along with it anyway. So my online hunt started and I was surprised that most of the double prams don’t take two car seats. I was finding they were suited to those that had a toddler and a baby rather than twins.

My online search led me to the Bumbleride Twin which has rave reviews which appeared to be pretty consistent. I love the colour choice and went with the grey and turquoise option. So let’s start with the size… it’s 30ins wide which will fit through your front door but not inner doors. So let’s start with the size… it’s 30ins wide which will fit through your front door but not inner doors. So far, out and about I have had no problems getting around (of course smaller shops will be a problem but that would be the case with all double pushchairs). 30ins is the biggest but not by a large margin, as the baby jogger city mini doubles 29ins wide.

One of the main reasons I love this pushchair, is that it can be used from birth. The seats totally recline so babies can lay flat and when your babies get bigger they can sleep comfortably. Another plus is for that reason you don’t have to purchase a bassinet for the pram which of course is a money saver since you would have to buy two. Also it states the pram can be used up to 3 years old which I totally believe as the seats are a great size.

The maneuverability of the pram is excellent and always surprises people when I let them push it. The front 2 front swivel wheels allow you to turn with ease, without feeling you have to use your body weight to turn it left or right. The two front wheels can be locked into place for jogging. I have not gone jogging with the pram so I won’t go further into it. The canopy is huge with a pop extender which will ensure that your little ones are always covered and protected in hot weather SPF 45. Also great for when they are sleeping and blocking out the world to leave them undisturbed. The basket is a decent size which is helpful when you’re out hitting the shops. Additionally zip compartments on the back of the pram perfect for your mobile phone.

The one-step fold is easy and uncomplicated, I have been able to close the pram quickly. However the pram is on the heavy side (41kgs) so some may struggle, I just took it as apart of my exercise.

Now if being an eco-friendly product makes you more likely to purchase, then this pram ticks that box 100% recycled polyester is used.

If you can’t tell, I LOVE my pram and I am very happy with my purchase! I am looking forward to the adventures I will be having, and I know this pram is up to the task. took a risk getting something I could not test out for myself but it paid off.
